REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY — iD Skin Identity (Australia)

Thank you for shopping with iD Skin Identity. We want you to be happy with your purchase.
If you are not completely satisfied, you may be eligible for a refund or exchange in accordance with this policy.

1 — AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW (ACL)

Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Under the ACL, consumers have rights to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure or if the goods are not of acceptable quality.

2 — CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind.

To be eligible for a change-of-mind return or exchange:
✔️ You must contact us within 14 days of delivery
✔️ Items must be unused, unopened, and in original condition
✔️ Items must be returned in original packaging

Change-of-mind refunds will be issued as:

  • refund to original payment method
    or

  • store credit (your choice)

You must pay the cost of shipping for change-of-mind returns unless we agree otherwise.


3 — DEFECTIVE OR FAULTY PRODUCTS

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or not fit for its intended purpose, you may be entitled to a replacement or refund under the ACL.

To request a refund or replacement for a faulty item:

  1. Contact us at: andyartes@skinbyorigin.com

  2. Include your order number, a photo of the product, and a short description of the issue

  3. We will assess and respond within 2 business days

If your claim is accepted:

  • we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label

  • we will issue a replacement or refund (your choice)


4 — HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM

To return an item:

  1. Email us within the above timeframes

  2. Wait for our return authorization & instructions

  3. Pack the item securely

  4. Ship it back using the instructions we provide

Refunds will be processed within 5 business days of receiving the returned item, subject to inspection.


5 — EXCHANGES

Exchanges are processed as follows:
✔️ Exchanges for a different size or product are available
✔️ If the new item costs more, you will pay the price difference
✔️ If the new item costs less, we will refund the difference


6 — REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used when placing the order, unless otherwise agreed.


7 — ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURNS

You cannot return:
❌ Items that have been used or opened
❌ Products without original packaging
❌ Items returned without prior authorization


8 — SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are:
✔️ Covered by us if the item is defective
✔️ Not covered by us for change-of-mind returns

You are responsible for return shipping charges for change-of-mind returns unless otherwise agreed.


9 — PROCESSING TIMES

Refunds and exchanges typically take between 3–10 business days after approved return is received.
